Quality Control Laboratory Technician

• As a laboratory technician for additives, you ensure daily quality control.
• In consultation with the quality coordinator, you determine the analyses to be performed by external laboratories and prepare the relevant samples.
• You carry out daily inspections of the products and raw materials on site.
• You take samples of the raw materials and (semi) finished products.
• You carry out quality analyses according to standardized test methods.
• You compare the results with the predetermined product specifications.
• You report analysis results to the production team.
• You improve the management of the results in a database.
• You prepare the control instructions and procedures.
• You are responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory and the up-to-date management of laboratory equipment.
• You take care of the laboratory administration.
• You follow up on the certification of our additives products.
• You are in contact with the external bodies that guarantee the certification of our products (and carry out audits).
• You are able to eventually take the lead over all DEME Building Materials laboratories.

• You have experience as a laboratory technician or quality control employee, have followed training for this.
• You have at least a Bachelor's level education.
• You are willing to move between Ostend, Vlissingen, Dunkirk, and Boulogne.
• You speak very good Dutch and English, basic knowledge of French.
• You are willing and motivated to take the necessary training courses.
• You work meticulously and conscientiously.
