As a member of the site management committee and the regional Q&FS Europe team, the Site Q&FS Manager represents the voice of the site to the regional organization, while embodying the group's standards locally.
Beyond the technical dimension, the position has a strong managerial and collaborative challenge, with direct responsibility for a team of experienced individuals with recognized expertise, which will need to be rallied, accompanied, and advanced. You actively contribute to an effective collective operation with other key functions of the factory, in an environment where quality can only be managed through strong transversality with operations, maintenance, engineering, and all other stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For ?Higher education degree (Bac+5 / Master or Engineer) in food quality, life sciences, engineering, or equivalent
10 years and more of experience, including at least 5 years in Quality and Food Safety (Q&FS) within the consumer goods industry.
Proven team management experience (line management).
Sharp functional expertise in QFS, including direct experience in deploying quality management systems in an industrial environment (HACCP, FSSC, ISO, etc.).
Fluent English is indispensable
1. Quality and Compliance Management:
Define, lead, and deploy the site's QFS strategy, in line with the factory's management and the regional QFS team, while ensuring compliance with the group's standards and external certifications.
Monitor the site's QFS performance through dedicated indicators (KPIs), identify deviations, implement corrective/preventive action plans, and escalate necessary alerts to regional or global bodies.
2. Direct and Cross-functional Team Management
Develop and manage the local QFS team by fostering close cross-functional collaboration with all departments of the factory.
Be the spokesperson for Quality and Food Safety on the site by instilling a true "Quality Culture" among the management team.
3. Regulatory Compliance and Export:
Ensure the site's compliance and ability to meet internal, external, and regulatory audits, in an environment where quality and food safety standards are particularly high.
4. Continuous Improvement and Site Transformation:
Advance the site's Q&FS operations towards a more proactive, structured, and continuous improvement approach, to strengthen long-term anticipation, risk management, and the robustness of practices.
