Position General Responsibilities
Develop residential real estate loans. Support in Home Equity area and Credit Line when appropriate. Represents the Bank in community activities.

Education, Experience And Certification Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Minimum 1-3 years in Real Estate Lending/Originating.
• Knowledge of secondary markets and packaging of real estate loans.
• Have strong local contacts for business development.
• Four years of post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Handle the origination, recommendations and processing for real estate loans and development of new business.

Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties And Competencies

Real Estate Lending Functions:

• Originates, recommends and begins processing of residential real estate (FHA, VA, secondary market) requests. Possesses the necessary underwriting skills to determine eligibility of applicants to qualify for conventional FHA/VA loan programs.
• Detailed knowledge of secondary markets for real estate loans.
• Detailed knowledge of various other loan programs for the Bank’s, including construction loans.

Real Estate Underwriting, Sales, Funding & Processing

• On-going assessment of Bozeman Real Estate Market to create an effective and competitive market.
• Communication with the Processing Center to provide the necessary tools to compete in the Bozeman market.
• Work in conjunction with the Department Manager to develop and implement effective retail marketing programs.
