Overview

Education and/or Experience- High school diploma or GED preferred; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- CA Food Handlers card required.
- Resort certification on any necessary equipment.
- Employees positioned that require skiing or snowboarding must be able to pass an on‑site ski or ride exam before being able to ski or ride for work (specific to on‑mountain restaurants).
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, talk, and hear. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb, kneel, crawl, crouch, stoop or balance. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work EnvironmentExposure to guest/employee interaction, moving mechanical parts, high altitude, and changing indoor conditions (close‑quarters, wet, humid/steamy, slick, illuminated, hot/sharp/loud surfaces and/or equipment). Occasionally exposed to rapidly changing outdoor environments. Noise level in the workplace is usually moderate to loud.
