Sales Representative

Do you love craft beer, building relationships, and spending your days in the market rather than behind a desk? Kettle House Brewing Co. is looking for a Sales Representative to help grow one of Montana's most recognized craft beer brands. In this role, you'll work directly with retailers and distributor partners, represent Kettle House at events across Montana, and help bring exceptional beer experiences to customers throughout our markets.

The ideal Sales Representative will be organized, self‑motivated, fun‑loving, a strong communicator, and not afraid of a little travel.

About Kettle House

Our award‑winning beers include Cold Smoke® Scotch Ale, 56 Counties™, Double Haul® IPA, Shady™ New England IPA, Fish On!® Juicy Montana Pale Ale, along with many seasonal and rotating offerings. We are distributed throughout Montana and in select markets in Idaho, Washington, Wyoming, and Utah.

Our company is built on the core values of Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Commitment to Excellence, and Commitment to Community. An ideal team member embodies those values and wants to join a hard‑working team where we all come together to accomplish shared goals and have fun doing it.

  • Stay aware of market trends and opportunities, and leverage this information to expand Kettle House Brewing Company's reach and drive company growth.
  • Demonstrate a passion for beer, superior customer service skills, a strong ability to build relationships with customers, and a successful sales track record.
  • Practice effective time management skills and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and follow through.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain knowledge about the Montana brewing industry and the ability to stay current on this rapidly changing industry.
  • Other duties as assigned to help grow our brand and get Kettle House beer in the hands of our customers.
Requirements

  • Relationship‑building skills and the ability to create relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, distributors, coworkers, etc.
  • Availability to work occasional early morning or late evening shifts and weekends due to customer demand and possible retailer entertainment.
  • Willingness to meet travel requirements, up to 10‑25% of the time.
  • Knowledge of computer programs, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Proficiency in VIP and/or other related sales technology programs a plus.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Competitive base salary plus a performance‑based bonus structure.
  • Paid time off.
  • Health, dental, and vision, with company contribution.
