Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to support our mission of advancing music education. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting rentals and purchases of band and orchestra instruments, accessories, and lessons. You will drive sales, enroll students in private lessons, and provide expert, friendly customer service. Responsibilities include POS transactions, merchandising, inventory support, and assisting with opening/closing.

You'll work in a collaborative, student-focused environment with opportunities to grow in music retail and education support.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of instruments, accessories, and services to meet store goals
• Guide customers on rentals, purchases, and repairs of band and orchestra instruments
• Promote and enroll students in private lesson programs
• Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and educators
• Operate POS system, handle cash, and process online and in-store orders
• Support merchandising, inventory, and store presentation standards
• Collaborate with store and school service teams to support local music programs
• Act as a senior resource for part-time staff and assist with opening/closing duties
