This is a full-time, commission based Independent Sales Representative role. The Independent Sales Representative will identify and engage prospective customers, present product options, and recommend solutions that fit client needs. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, conducting product demonstrations, preparing quotes, and following up to close orders. The role involves maintaining regular communication with existing accounts, handling inquiries, and coordinating with production and fulfillment teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
The representative will also gather customer feedback, participate in local events or trade shows as needed, and consistently work to expand market reach for Old Wood Signs .
- Strong consultative sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships in retail and B2B settings
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
- Basic proficiency with sales tracking tools or CRM software and standard office applications
- Comfort working on-site around production and inventory, with attention to product details
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time and priorities independently
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or sales training is an advantage
