- Responsibilities:
Provide security, care, and direct supervision of inmates/residents in housing units, meals, recreation, and work assignments.;
Maintain order and security within the correctional facility, including potential use of weapons or force to maintain discipline.;
Work across multiple posts and shifts (armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.).;
Complete required training and obtain any applicable state security license (paid by the employer).;
Be available to work any hours or shifts.
