Pump Technician

Aaqua Drilling is a growing water well drilling and pump service company serving residential, agricultural, and light commercial customers throughout Montana and Wyoming. We are committed to quality workmanship, safety, and long-term customer relationships.

We are seeking a mechanically inclined Pump Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service water well pump systems. This position works outdoors year-round and requires strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

• Install, pull, and service submersible well pumps
• Diagnose and troubleshoot pump performance issues
• Replace pressure tanks, switches, controls, pipe, wire, and related components
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting using diagnostic tools
• Conduct water pressure tests and verify proper system functionality
• Complete job documentation
• Maintain tools, trucks, and equipment in safe working condition
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding work performed
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety meetings

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Plumbing, electrical, or pump experience preferred
• CDL or willingness to obtain

This role requires frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces. Technicians must be comfortable working in heat, cold, wind, and snow. Occasional after‑hours or emergency service may be required.
