Traffic Safety Services, Inc. is seeking dedicated Flaggers to join our team. The Flaggers will be responsible for directing traffic in and around construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public. Must have a Montana ATSSA flagger certification. This position is seasonal in nature. Employment is based on workload, weather conditions, and project availability, which may vary throughout the year.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Direct traffic in work zones and construction sites using signals, signs, and hand gestures.
- Communicate effectively with equipment operators and other team members to maintain a safe work environment.
- Follow safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Requires one to stand for long periods of time.
- Requires one to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Must have a Montana ATSSA flagger certification. Flagger certificates from Idaho and Washington are also acceptable.
- Valid driver's license. Clean driving record is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must conduct yourself in a manner promoting a professional atmosphere by being a team player, self-motivated, organized and having a positive attitude.
- Must have good oral communication skills with co-workers.
- Work week varies - overtime is required when needed.

Traffic Safety Services Inc. (the "Company") may order a "consumer report" (a background report) or "investigative consumer report" on you in connection with your employment application, and if you are hired, or if you already work for the Company, may order additional background reports on you for employment purposes, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. The background check company, Continental Screening Services, will prepare the background report for the Company.
The background report may contain information concerning your character, general reputation, personal characteristics, mode of living, criminal history, and credit standing. An "investigative consumer report" is a background report that includes information from personal interviews. Information may be obtained from private and public sources and for investigative consumer reports from personal interviews as noted above.
The Company may require you to complete a drug screening test and/or physical on you in connection with your employment application. Continental Screening Services will supply drug screening and physical reports to the Company.
