EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON COMPLETING AND PASSING PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Maintenance Technician $26.07 per hour plus benefits.
12-hour night shift 6:00pm-6:00am
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all factory equipment. This includes troubleshooting, repairs, equipment installations, ordering parts, and communication and training with Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) technical support. This position shares responsibility for maintaining Pasta Montana's food safety, quality and legality program by following all BRC guidelines.
Pasta Montana team members are expected to maintain a positive work atmosphere through communication and behaving in a manner that is courteous and respectful to all customers, vendors, contractors, co-workers, leads and management. Pasta Montana team members are also expected to have on-time, regular, reliable, and predictable attendance and must always be aware of and pay attention to their surroundings.
Essential Job Functions:Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
2 years' maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, welding, fabrication, mechanical, pneumatic, heating and air handling repair. Ability to read blueprints, building plans and repair manuals. Ability to correctly use hand and power tools. Knowledge of packaging principles, processes and good manufacturing practices. Understanding of personnel and safety standards. Able to function as a motivated team member in a highly dynamic environment.
Able to work and communicate effectively in a team setting. Able to learn, troubleshoot and multi-task. Must be trainable, teachable, reliable, honest, trustworthy, and motivated.

Must be able to work an extended shift. Must be able to work all shifts. Must be able to climb ladders, operate man lifts; work around running equipment and in high places. Must be able to distinguish color and odor. Works in environments with temperatures up to 160 degrees, relative humidity up to 50%, machinery noise (hearing protection is OSHA required).
