We are looking for an experienced Marine Technician to join our growing team.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $25–$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Starting compensation is determined by experience, diagnostic ability, manufacturer knowledge, certifications, and overall skill level
  • Overtime opportunities available

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

What You'll DoAs a Marine Technician with Brady Boat Works, you will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain a wide variety of marine engines and vessel systems.
Responsibilities Include
  • Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain marine engines and vessel systems
  • Perform routine and preventative engine maintenance
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and marine systems
  • Perform computer diagnostics and accurately identify system faults
  • Service and repair steering, trim, and tilt systems
  • Diagnose and repair marine electrical systems
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain marine electronics and equipment
  • Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance, including pumps, bilge systems, washdowns, livewells, heads, and related components
  • Perform vessel inspections and evaluations when needed
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
  • Identify additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate recommendations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  • Document work performed accurately
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and service recommendations
  • Follow manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Represent Brady Boat Works professionally while working at customer vessels, marinas, and other service locations
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of professional marine technician experience
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to independently diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable and professional
  • Ability to safely work around boats, marine equipment, and varying job-site conditions
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
