MAP Case Manager

As a Case Manager with the Employment Standards Division, you will play a critical role in supporting licensed professionals as they navigate compliance requirements and work toward maintaining or regaining their ability to serve their communities. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Montana Assistance Program (MAP) supports licensed professionals across the state who may be experiencing substance use, mental health, or physical challenges that affect their ability to practice safely. This position serves as a key point of contact for program participants, ensuring compliance with established monitoring agreements. The Case Manager works closely with participants, providers, and internal staff to support consistent program implementation and informed decision-making.
This role contributes directly to public protection while supporting participants in successfully completing program requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor participant compliance:
Track and oversee participant progress in meeting the terms of monitoring agreements, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation of required activities. - Maintain accurate records:
Document participant interactions, progress, and supporting information to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date case files for program and board review. - Coordinate communication:
Serve as the primary liaison between participants, treatment providers, and program staff to support clear, consistent communication and successful outcomes. - Identify and resolve issues:
Evaluate participant challenges, identify root causes of non-compliance, and collaborate with program staff to develop appropriate solutions. - Ensure program consistency:
Work with colleagues to promote consistent application of procedures, documentation practices, and monitoring standards across the program. - Escalate compliance concerns:
Identify and report potential violations or risks, escalating issues to the Program Coordinator for further evaluation and action as needed. - Support program integrity:
Contribute to a fair and accountable process that balances participant support with the program's public protection mission.
