Ice Rink Attendant Winter

Position Summary

We are seeking an Ice Rink Attendant for the upcoming winter season (November - April) in Big Sky, Montana. The attendant will assist with daily operations, programming, and member services at the ice rink. This is a seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.

• Assist with daily ice rink operations, including rental equipment management and ice condition monitoring.
• Coordinate scheduling with the Rink Lead Coordinator and manage pick-up hockey, events, and member services.
• Maintain safety protocols, perform first aid, CPR, and emergency response, and implement emergency procedures.
• Support promotion and expansion of rink programs to increase engagement.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in ice rink operations, hockey coaching/coordination, or sports program management.
• Experience teaching skating lessons and ability to learn and be trained to teach curling lessons.
• Strong knowledge of ice sports, particularly hockey and figure skating.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Zamboni or ice resurfacing operations is a plus.

• Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving on ice surfaces.
