• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Carry a valid state‑issued driver’s license at all times while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Courteously assist customers, directing them to the Facility Manager if needed.
• Report any accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage and major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the region.
• Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items when applicable.
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Education / Experience: Less than high school or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.

License Requirement: Valid state driver’s license with current address and acceptable DMV record.

Availability: Shift requirements vary; may need 3rd shift and/or weekends.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one situations.

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic with dollars.

Appearance: Maintain neat, clean appearance and be in uniform at all times.

Physical Demands: Stand, walk, handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, balance, lift or move up to 75 pounds.

Rate of Pay: $19.00 per hour (+tips). This role is eligible for tips in addition to the hourly rate.
