We areseekinga reliable and experienced Loader Operator to join our team. As a Loader Operator, you willbe responsible foroperatinga large wheel loaderat our gravel pit and crushing sites. Your primary duties will include efficiently and accurately loading trucks, managing material stockpiles, and performing light maintenance on the loader. You will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our production process while adhering to the highest safety standards.
This position requires excellent communication skills as you will interact directly with customers and other contractors.
- Operate a wheel loader (6-8 yard bucket) to load trucks with gravel and other aggregate materials.
- Manage material stockpiles, ensuring proper segregation and preventing contamination.
- Accurately track bucket counts and load counts.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and light maintenance on the loader, including greasing and cleaning.
- Assist with maintenance and repairs on the crusher and screen plant.
- Assist with screen changes and cleaning around tail pulleys.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to truck drivers and other contractors.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- A current and valid MSHA certification is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience running a loader, loading trucks, and working around screens and crushers is required (skid steer experience is not sufficient).
- CDL is a plus, but not required.
- Solid understanding of loader operation and maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including shoveling, lifting, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and other contractors.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to working safely and efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time, Monday –Friday, 7 am-5:30 pm, weekends and OT as needed

Wage:$25-$26.50/hour DOE
