A ready mix driver delivers concrete to various projects, ensuring quality and customer relations. The role includes safe operation of the truck, compliance with DOT regulations, diligent inspections, and teamwork.

Training is available for those without CDL or ready mix experience.

• Safely operate ready mix truck in compliance with DOT regulations and deliver concrete using efficient routes.
• Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to meet DOT standards.
• Inspect mix designs, verify load size, slump, and adjust as needed.
• Perform wash down at job sites and drum rinse at plant.
• Provide excellent customer service and collect payment.
• Maintain vehicle, plant, and shop safety and cleanliness.
• Accurately complete paperwork using tablets or phones.
• Collaborate with team and cross‑train in dispatching, batching, mechanics, etc.
• Perform duties outside normal scope as needed.

• Consent to pre‑employment screening, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
• Class A or B CDL with current Medical DOT card.
• Personal protective equipment required.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Exposure to weather elements, heat, cold, dust, and outdoor work.
• Occasional overnight travel possible.
