Distribution Team – Equipment Operator
Shift: Tuesday – Friday, 2:00 PM to 1:30 AM (8% shift differential).
Pay: $21.50 per hour.
Responsibilities- Receive, unload pallets and cases from inbound trailers and containers using pallet jack.
- Accurately count, verify, and receive product using radio frequency (RF) equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology; document variances.
- Pick, load, and pack items as directed by Voice Pick Technology and/or RF scanner and place items into totes on the conveyor belt.
- Remove empty cartons from pick module as needed.
- Prepare sortation area by setting up pallets and carts for product; move cartons and totes from conveyor belts and/or rollers and place on pallets or carts according to assigned batch.
- Use RF scanner and pallet jack to load totes, pallets, and carts onto trucks for customer delivery.
- Follow sequencing and process procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and follow safety policies and procedures.
- Place incoming merchandise into inventory; conduct physical inventories as required.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards and perform additional duties as directed.
- General knowledge of basic topics (math, reading, basic accounting, typing).
- Prior experience working in a warehouse/distribution center (a plus).
- Warehouse/Operations certification (a plus).
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet performance standards.
- Good attention to detail and dependable with regular punctual attendance.
- Willingness to learn new material handling equipment and WMS technology.
- Ability to adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures for safety rules and requirements received in training.
