The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. We are committed to working with our school districts, other agencies, families and the community at large by providing services, information and leadership, always with a focus on students.

The Teacher, Impact will collaborate with classroom teachers and provide individual or small group instruction to students who need support with grade-level core content. The Teacher, Impact will provide a wide range of strategies associated with students needing support with literacy and math. The Teacher, Impact will also provide on-going guidance and strategies on the integration of Math and English/Language Arts intervention in Alternative Education programs.

• Possession of a valid California Clear Multiple Subject teaching or Single Subject credential authorizing teaching in Math or English;
• Possession of a valid California Clear Mild to Moderate teaching credential;
• Possession of an English Learner Authorization or the ability to immediately obtain an authorization;
• Three (3) years of classroom experience;
• Experience with assessment, data analysis, intervention, and various core and supplemental curriculum;
• Experience working with diverse student groups;
• Possession of a valid driver’s license for California and use of personal transportation is required. (SBCSS vehicle not provided).

$64,624.00 - $ Annually
