Member Service Representative

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Member Service Representative based in Montclair, CA. The Member Service Representative will assist members with financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring high-quality customer service. Responsibilities include handling a variety of member inquiries, providing accurate information about credit union products and services, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial policies, and supporting members in achieving financial goals.

The role also entails promoting and cross-selling services and maintaining accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Phone Etiquette and strong Communication skills to assist members effectively and professionally
• Excellent Customer Service capabilities with the ability to address member needs promptly and courteously
• Basic Computer Literacy to navigate financial systems and process transactions accurately
• Foundational understanding of Finance and financial services
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work within a team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in a similar role or financial institution is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in finance or related fields is an asset
