ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and directs patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Telemetry Unit. Communicates with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition, cardiac monitoring results, diagnostic study findings, and symptomatology.
Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous acute‑care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Medical‑Surgical Nurse‑Board Certified (RN‑BC) or similar certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Montclair Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, including wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $41.57 to $57.07. Final starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire based on skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
