Telemetry RN - Montclair, CA

Deliver high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. This role focuses on utilizing comprehensive nursing skills to monitor, assess, and treat patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Engage directly with patients and families, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage the ever-evolving needs of individuals in a dynamic Telemetry Unit.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ventilator management experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred
• Strong assessment, clinical, and critical-thinking abilities
• Effective communication skills with medical staff, patients, and families
• Experience in telemetry or acute care settings is highly regarded

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormalities; respond rapidly and appropriately to emergent patient needs
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and implement prescribed interventions
• Guide and mentor other nursing personnel, ensuring adherence to Telemetry Unit standards
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care needs
• Accurately document all aspects of nursing care and clinical changes
