Registered Nurse - Telemetry - Montclair, California

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry, you will utilize your clinical expertise to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and support both patients and their families throughout their hospital experience.

• Active, unrestricted RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Experience with ventilator management preferred.
• COVID vaccination and boosters preferred.

• Contract-based assignment.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate nursing care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes in the Telemetry unit.
• Provide direct bedside care and ensure all practice is within the scope of state and facility standards.
• Monitor patient’s clinical status closely, especially cardiac rhythms, and communicate promptly with physicians regarding any significant changes or concerns.
• Document all nursing and patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching, ensuring understanding of care, treatments, and procedures.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to ancillary nursing personnel, maintaining a collaborative team environment.
• Respond swiftly and efficiently to medical emergencies or changes in patient condition, demonstrating use of critical thinking skills.
