0188 Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Prepare subfloors by cleaning, inspecting, and making minor repairs as needed. Measure, plan, and mark layout for proper flooring installation. Cut and install hardwood flooring using nail-down, glue-down, or floating methods. Install underlayment, vapor barriers, and transitions as required. Use installation tools and equipment safely and correctly. Ensure proper spacing, alignment, and overall finish quality. Follow manufacturer specifications and installation guidelines.
Maintain a clean and safe job site throughout the project. Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality standards.
Prior experience in hardwood flooring installation preferred. Ability to measure, cut, and install flooring accurately. Knowledge of installation methods (nail-down, glue-down, floating systems). Familiarity with flooring tools and equipment (flooring nailer, saws, air compressor, moisture meter, etc.). Ability to read basic floor plans and follow installation instructions. Understanding of subfloor preparation and moisture considerations. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work on feet for extended periods.
Attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reliable transportation to job sites. Punctuality and strong work ethic.
Pay range: $19-$85 (We are required by law to list highest paid employee)
