Property Accountant - Senior

Overview

Our client is seeking a Project Accountant who will support the monthly close process, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting and special projects. This is a hands-on opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow within a collaborative accounting team.

• Assist with monthly general ledger close process
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Support internal and external financial reporting
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc accounting initiatives
• Provide support across the Accounting Department as needed
• Contribute beyond core responsibilities to support overall company objectives and departmental goals

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 0–3 years of general ledger accounting experience
• Knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with Word and Outlook
• Experience with Quick Books preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic with willingness to support the team during peak periods and month-end deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Property management and/or residential construction industry experience is a plus

Compensation and benefits:
