This Orthodontics Schedule Coordinator position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and is performed in-office at our Montclair, New Jersey location. As a full- or part-time Orthodontic Schedule Coordinator, you will help keep the office running efficiently by checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering incoming phone calls, managing the daily schedule, and running relevant reports. You will communicate with patients and parents both in person and over the telephone, provide excellent customer service, and build positive relationships with patients, parents, the doctor, and fellow team members.

- High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in dentistry, preferably orthodontics
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with patients, parents, the doctor, staff members, and the community
- Strong letter composition and written communication skills
- Effective verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally in person and by telephone
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in providing an excellent patient experience
- Problem-solving skills, including gentle persuasion skills to schedule effectively
Must have the ability to pass a background check.
