General Construction Laborer

DOBCO Inc. is seeking dependable, hardworking Construction Laborers to support our residential construction projects throughout Northern New Jersey. This is a hands-on position for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and are willing to learn and grow within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters, foremen, and other trades on active construction sites.
• Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and material disposal.
• Dig, backfill, and prepare work areas as directed.
• Assist with demolition and site preparation.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Set up and take down temporary fencing, barricades, and safety equipment.
• Help receive and organize material deliveries.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or general labor experience required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Northern New Jersey.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Punctual, dependable, and safety conscious.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
