Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Student Success, the Program Associate functions as the point of contact for the CCHL Student Success Center, supporting major events and programs throughout the year. The Program Associate provides administrative support to the Assistant Dean in the smooth and effective functioning of the Student Success Center.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Support the Assistant Dean for Student Success in matters related to operations and initiatives of the Student Success Center.
- Manage the Assistant Dean's calendar, schedule meetings, and provide administrative support as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the College for Community Health Student Success Center, including front desk coverage, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries from students.
- Coordinate front desk operations, including hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of student staff to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Coordinate the Student Ambassador Program, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling meetings, and sending communications.
- Support the coordination of student success initiatives, orientations, and onboarding events.
- Assist with social media and web content creation, production, and distribution of promotional materials, and mass email communications.
- Provide outreach to CCHL undergraduate students regarding retention, academic standing, registration, and timely progression toward degree completion via Navigate, CCHL email, phone, or text.
- Triage student inquiries, provide general guidance, and connect students to appropriate resources (e.g., academic advising, tutoring, coaching, and campus services).
- Provide pre-advising support by clarifying academic processes and preparing students for advising appointments.
- Generate routine reports on student engagement, outreach effectiveness, academic risk indicators to inform retention strategies. Collect and generate other data reports as needed.
- Perform duties as assigned.
- Management retains the right to modify responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, human services, English, or related field.
- Minimum one (1) year of professional experience at a higher education institution.
- Personable, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), comfortable working with social media and have the ability to quickly learn new applications.
- Responsible, confident and welcomes the opportunity to make suggestions, contribute ideas and get involved in the programs and services.
- Ability to work well with people of varied backgrounds and talents.
- Demonstrate understanding of excellent customer service.
- Experience in Career Services or Academic Advising.
- Experience working with Handshake, Navigate, and Banner a plus.
$57,072.15-$62,777.19 Annually
