Chocolingua Academy is seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Language Instructors to bring our Chocolingua Method to life in engaging, immersive classes. We believe language learning should be joyful, interactive, and confidence-building through storytelling, movement, and meaningful communication.

This part-time role involves teaching children, teens, or adults in-person in Montclair and surrounding areas. Instruction may include both in-person and online formats based on scheduling needs, ensuring a flexible but consistent and high-quality learning experience. Instructors foster a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to speak, take risks, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the target language in live in-person and online classes
• Deliver interactive, immersive lessons using the Chocolingua Method
• Engage students through storytelling, games, music, and creative activities
• Plan and prepare lessons using provided curriculum guidelines
• Use digital tools such as Zoom, Google Workspace, and Canva (for optional curriculum projects)

Requirements

• Native or advanced proficiency in the target language
• Strong command of English for classroom communication
• Experience teaching languages (online or in person)
• Ability to teach children, teens, or adults in an engaging format
• Reliable transportation to Montclair, NJ and surrounding areas
• Functional technology setup (computer, webcam, stable internet)
• Availability for a hybrid teaching schedule (in-person and online)
• Eligibility to work on payroll in the United States (W-2 employment)
