Job Description & How to Apply Below
- Lead and shape cutting-edge aerospace technologies for critical missions.
- Candidates with RF product engineering experience are preferred
This organization designs and manufactures highly reliable Radio Frequency electronic and electromechanical solutions used in mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. The business combines decades of engineering heritage with a forward-looking approach to innovation and continuous improvement. Engineers are given real ownership over technical direction, product strategy, and customer outcomes. The culture is collaborative, hands-on, and grounded in long-term thinking rather than short-term wins.
Teams work closely with customers to solve complex problems that genuinely matter.
Job Description
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team spanning RF and mechanical disciplines, fostering high performance, accountability, and technical excellence
- Own the full engineering lifecycle across new product development, sustaining engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Set clear technical direction, establish design standards, and ensure robust engineering processes aligned with industry and regulatory requirements
- Balance people leadership with hands-on technical judgement, providing guidance on complex design, trade-off, and risk decisions
- Plan and allocate engineering resources across multiple concurrent programmes to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives
- Partner closely with sales, business development, and operations to define technology roadmaps and support long-term growth
- Serve as a senior technical interface for customers, supporting design reviews, problem resolution, and strategic engagements
- Lead engineering input into proposals, cost estimates, and program planning activities
- Manage engineering budgets, including IR&D investment, funded development work, and sustaining activities
- Drive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational discipline across the engineering organization
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar discipline
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with RF focus preferred
- 10+ years of engineering experience in relevant industry.
- Extensive experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated environments
- Strong background in RF passive component design and simulation
- Proven people leadership experience within an engineering function
- Commercial awareness and ability to engage directly with customers
- Eligibility to access export-controlled technical information
- Competitive base salary with annual bonus opportunity
- Comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance
- Generous paid time off and paid holidays
- 401(k) with company match and additional retirement contribution from company.
- Education reimbursement and ongoing professional development
- A visible leadership role with long-term growth potential
