Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for day shifts, requiring a NJ or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting,

• Handles a wide range of surgical procedures including bariatrics, vascular, neuro, ortho, robotics, general, eye, and urology,

• Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience preferred but not required,

• Day shifts are 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM,

• Scrubs are provided by the facility,

Job Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration,

• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred,

• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience required,

• Must demonstrate experience with general and specialized OR procedures as listed,

• Experience with Epic documentation preferred,

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility,

• Former perm staff must have at least 1 year since previous employment at the facility,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position,

• No travel pairs or groups allowed,

• Up to 3 days of requested time off may be approved; no time off permitted during the first week of orientation,

• Modules are completed onsite during orientation and are recorded via transcripts,

• Return-to-work eligibility is restricted for recent former staff,

• Orientation covers facility operations and required processes,
