About The Role

As we continue to grow our organization, we are looking to add an Account Executive to our team!

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day account activities; including regular communication with clients, assessment of clients needs and priorities and generation of ideas to meet client needs
• Research and write news releases, pitches, fact sheets, media advisories and social media content
• Pitch by email and phone to national, regional and trade journalists, including print, broadcast and online
• Manage social media, including implementation of social media campaigns for clients on platforms including Linked In, X and Instagram
• Research target media using Muck Rack, Cision and the Internet
• Manage and mentor junior staff

Knowledge,

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of PR agency experience
• Demonstrated success in securing national and niche media coverage
• Familiarity of AP style and strong writing skills
• Knowledge of the wider media landscape – including current events, national/statewide news and trends
• Experience with ideation and creation of news articles, thought leadership columns and blog posts
• Detail oriented; able to manage multiple projects in an organized manner
