Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Position Summary

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing service requests, preparing vacant units for new residents, and assisting with the overall upkeep of the property. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

* Complete resident maintenance service requests in a timely manner

* Perform general apartment repairs and preventative maintenance

* Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related issues

* Repair and replace fixtures, appliances, and hardware as needed

* Assist with apartment turns and make-ready projects

* Paint, patch drywall, and perform basic carpentry work

* Maintain community grounds and common areas

* Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance concerns

* Follow all safety procedures and company policies

* Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff

Qualifications

* Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, handyman, or construction experience preferred

* Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs

* Ability to use power tools and maintenance equipment safely

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication and customer service abilities

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

* HVAC certification is a plus but not required
