Schedule:
7:00am to 9:00am and 3:00pm to 5:00pm
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Driver to join our team! As the Hopes Respite Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well‑being. The ideal candidate is comfortable driving children with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities- Pick up and drop off participants at designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
- Assist participants with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe manner
- Engage with participants in a friendly and courteous manner
- CDL preferred
- Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to follow GPS directions
