The hourly rate for this position is $19.00–$23.00 per hour. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
As Receptionist/Cashier you will be the front-line contact with our customers answering phone calls and greeting walk-in customers. You will also be responsible for receiving payments and balancing receipts on a daily basis. In addition, you will perform administrative tasks including preparing payables and electronic filing.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Reception Duties- Answers calls on multi-line telephone system.
- Greets visitors and directs them.
- Distributes incoming mail and faxes.
- Receives customer payments in person or over the phone.
- Maintains petty cash box
- Maintains professional appearance and neat work areas.
- Orders office supplies.
- Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Receives cash and handles cash drawer with accuracy
- Runs credit and debit card machine.
- Balances cash, checks, credit card payments and debit card payments daily (day cashier).
- Processes customer checks and calls for approval.
- Sorts and scans invoices
- Prepares daily parts and service invoices for mailing
- Reviews cash schedules weekly
- Files accounts payable invoices within accounting system (no accounts payable experience or knowledge required).
- Processes journal vouchers for warranty and credit departments
- Files and scans paperwork as necessary.
- Becomes familiar with and complies with the company’s Health & Safety Manual.
- Other duties may be assigned
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- One year’ related experience in a similar position
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Great telephone manner and ability to represent the company well with excellent customer relations skills
- Dependable and reliable and able to commit to the work hours for the position
