As the Tax Manager at New Gen Administrative Services, LLC you will report to the SVP of Finance operating as a part of the company’s leadership team. The role will work closely with other department leaders as a key business partner. The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for various entities, LLCs, Partnerships, Corporations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize client outcomes.
- Prepare book-to-tax adjustments and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare source documents for tax returns.
- Provide advice on business restructuring.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on accounts.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated tax solutions.
- Assist in tax audits and respond to tax inquiries from authorities.
- Review tax returns and ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Support M&A and entity-structure analyses when required.
- Continuously improve templates, systems, and workflow processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Public Accounting with a focus on tax.
- Proven experience as a Tax Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
