Senior Accountant

a. Manage the full-cycle month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet account reconciliations, profit and loss statements, journal entries, and financial reporting.

b. Review daily bank transactions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll activity; post necessary transactions to the facility ledger as needed.

c. Ensure accurate and timely posting of intercompany and subsidiary transactions to maintain clean and accurate facility ledgers.

d. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and expense schedules.

a. Maintain accurate and timely financial records, reconcile financial data, and support the company’s strategic financial planning initiatives.

b. Prepare and maintain accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and healthcare industry standards, including accrual accounting, prepaids, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.

a. Respond to audit requests, perform variance and flux analyses, and support external auditors during financial examinations.

b. Reconcile credit card statements and verify expenses are supported by appropriate documentation.

c. Review daily banking activity and reconcile transactions across accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and cash accounts for multiple facilities.

a. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives that impact the company’s financial performance.

b. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to support long-term operational and financial objectives.
