Accounting Manager

A.I. Foods Corp is a leading Filipino/Asian foods producer, importer, and distributor seeking a strategic and hands‑on Accounting Manager to partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team. This role will lead all financial and accounting functions, providing high‑level oversight, driving financial strategy, and ensuring operational excellence across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a forward‑thinking finance leader with manufacturing experience, expertise in cost accounting, and ability to build and scale financial infrastructure in a growing company.

• Provide strategic financial leadership and serve as a key advisor to the CEO on financial matters
• Lead and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
• Direct the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and executive reports
• Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial planning processes aligned with company growth objectives
• Oversee cost accounting and inventory valuation processes within a manufacturing environment
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements
• Design, implement, and continuously improve internal controls, policies, and financial systems
• Lead audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
• Build, mentor, and scale an accounting team
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Support strategic initiatives including expansion, capital investments, and operational improvements

• Knowledge of Filipino language/culture is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred; MBA a plus)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with leadership roles
• Experience with manufacturing and cost accounting a plus
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
