Interim FP&A Manager - 3 months assignment
On‑Site/hybrid | Montebello, CA
$130,000 – $150,000 per year
Step into a leadership role that shapes the future of our communities. New Gen Administrative Services partners with skilled nursing facilities to deliver compassionate, person‑centered care. We’re looking for an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, mentor a team, and be a true strategic partner to operations—all while driving the insights that keep our facilities thriving.
What you’ll do:- Lead budgeting and forecasting across all facilities, partnering with operations leadership to set performance targets
- Mentor a team of analysts and drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth
- Build and maintain complex financial models, dashboards, and KPIs that guide data‑driven decisions
- Present monthly performance reviews to executive and operational leaders, translating numbers into action
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to elevate the FP&A function
- Must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field - Must have: 5+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, ideally in healthcare or multi‑site operations
- Must have:
Prior experience managing or mentoring a team - Must have:
Deep understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and their interrelationships - Must have:
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; strong budgeting and forecasting knowledge - Must have:
Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to build cross‑functional relationships - Nice to have:
Experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or healthcare services - Nice to have:
Background leading process improvement and automation projects
