Salary Range: $22 - $24 per hour

Are you ready to be an essential part of our team and help maintain the integrity and organization of medical records?
As a Medical Records Assistant, You Will:
- Assist with the management and maintenance of patient and resident medical records.
- Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, and compliant with all healthcare regulations and policies.
- Organize and file medical documents in a systematic manner for easy access and retrieval.
- Assist with data entry and updating of medical charts, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate information is recorded.
- Help prepare medical records for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Must Have:
- 0-2 years of previous experience in medical records.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in record-keeping.
- Knowledge of nursing/medical practices and procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of ICD coding.
- Experience with Point Click Care or similar electronic health record systems.
