CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Develop and write programs for precision CNC machinery according to job order or blueprints.
• Optimize production by designing and testing efficient machining processes.
• Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.
• Liaise with the engineering and production teams to coordinate machining projects.
• Monitor all CNC machinery operations to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Maintain safety standards and cleanliness in all working areas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the CNC programming and machining processes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
• Strong understanding of machine operation and the properties of different metals and materials.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
