Job Overview

As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague – also known as a Beauty Advisor – you are the trusted expert our customers turn to for all things beauty. You create a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that builds confidence and drives sales, acting as both educator and beauty expert through product demonstrations, tailored consultations, makeup application, and skincare recommendations.

How Our Beauty Colleagues Spend Their Day…
  • Start the day energized, greeting teammates, and preparing the sales floor with a clean, organized environment. Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top‑selling items, and stay updated on trends and promotions.
  • Focus on the customer, offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating friendly, personal conversations to build relationships.
  • Maintain a shoppable space by keeping the counter and floor well stocked, refreshing signage and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves as needed for a seamless experience.
  • Finish strong by sharing our Loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have everything they need, and ending with a sincere thank‑you and a personal touch.
  • Support each other with honesty, care, and collaboration to serve customers and communities better.
  • Strive for continuous improvement, pride in work, achievement of sales goals, and learning from one another to deliver individual and store results.
Who You Are
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with reliable punctuality.
  • Must be able to:
    • Understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
    • Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
  • Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering customer needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits.
  • Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, participating in sales events, and staying current through training and vendor education.
  • Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service.
  • Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
  • Use point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Have at least one year of customer service or selling experience.
Essential

Physical Requirements You Will Perform
  • Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
  • Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash registers, and processing transactions.

Employment Information

Full‑time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part‑time colleagues are scheduled 12‑24 hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts.
