Could you be the full-time ESG Director, Americas in Saint-Bruno (QC) we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your sustainability and governance expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You ll play a pivotal role in embedding CSR and sustainability into regional strategy, risk management, and performance monitoring. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., EHS, Procurement, Innovation, Finance, HR), engage with external stakeholders such as customers and government representatives, and drive impactful initiatives that align with Alstom’s global sustainability goals.
You ll specifically take care of aligning regional sustainability priorities with group strategies and overseeing local action plans, but also engage in stakeholder collaboration and manage reporting processes to drive awareness and progress.
We’ll look to you for:
Embedding CSR and sustainability into regional strategy, governance, and performance monitoring
Defining and deploying regional CSR priorities in collaboration with key stakeholders
Engaging with customers and external partners to foster innovative sustainability practices
Overseeing the progress of regional and local sustainability action plans
Leading sustainability reporting processes and creating awareness campaigns
Coordinating a network of Country CSR Champions to drive CSR maturity
All about you

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in engineering, sustainability management, environmental sciences, or a related field preferred
Experience or understanding of sustainability, ESG, or related fields (5–10 years)
Knowledge of ISO
26000, ESG reporting standards, and tools such as GHG Protocol
Familiarity with stakeholder management and influence roles in a global context
A strong project leadership and change management skillset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English and French (proficiency in other regional languages is an asset). Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset for facilitating communication with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and clients. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
