Become a Geologist at Axis Geoscience Ltd., providing field-based exploration services to leading mineral companies throughout Canada. Focus on geological mapping, sampling, and drill support to advance exploration targets.

In this field-based role, your responsibilities will involve executing geological mapping and supporting drill supervision on hard-rock exploration projects. You'll work in rugged settings, collecting and validating critical geotechnical data, while also managing QA/QC procedures to enhance project outcomes. Your independent judgment and commitment to safety will contribute to effective exploration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geological mapping and prospecting in the field

• Supervise and support core drilling activities

• Record and validate geological data meticulously

• Manage samples and implement QA/QC standards

• Prepare technical reports and exploration maps

Requirements:

• Proven experience in geological fieldwork and sampling

• Familiarity with core logging and data management

• Knowledge of gold, copper, and uranium exploration systems

• Proficiency in GIS software like Leapfrog or Micromine

• Strong documentation and reporting capability
