Junior Accountant

Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Onsite, 8 AM to 5 PM

Carmichael International Service is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This position is responsible for supporting Pay-In functions to ensure accurate and timely duty payments in compliance with U.S. Customs regulations. The position will also assist with month-end reporting, forecasts, budgets, credit card applications, and various accounting functions including treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing.

• Process and support Pay-In functions to ensure correct and timely duty payments.
• Assist with month-end accounting activities

• Upload monthly financial reports to the KWE financial system.
• Upload forecasts into the KWE financial system.
• Upload budgets into the KWE financial system.
• Process and assist with credit card applications
  .
• Provide backup support for Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and job cost functions.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial information.
• Assist with additional Finance department duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and quality of work.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• 1–5 years of accounting experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
• Experience in accounting functions related to Pay-In, AP, AR, treasury, or job costing.
• Experience working with financial reporting systems is a plus.
• Open office environment with extensive computer use.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Fast-paced Finance environment requiring attention to accuracy and deadlines.
• May require flexibility to assist with additional Finance responsibilities as needed.
