Job Summary
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and coordinates all nursing care based on established clinical nursing care standards for medical‑surgical patients. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Serves in the resource nurse role when oriented and as directed.
Supports the organization’s vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patients’ age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Licensure in the state of California as a Registered Nurse (RN). Proficient in oral and written communication skills. Ability to practice leadership, interpersonal skills, teamwork, quality improvement, and professionalism.
- Current California RN license
- BCLS (AHA), NIHSS current and maintain
- ACLS (Preferred)
- Proficiency in both written and oral English
- 1 year acute experience
