Sales Account Executive

Position

FM Global Logistics USA/Inter-Orient Services is seeking a Sales Account Executive responsible for developing new business opportunities and building customer relationships.

• Identify and approach new business opportunities.
• Maintain and grow successful relationships with customers.
• Conduct sales activities required: sales calls per week, new customer visits per week, generate new sales leads, new accounts secured.
• Utilize presentations and prepare quotations to customers.
• Regularly contact customers to increase volume or market share.
• Work closely with operations, overseas agents & vendors to develop a collaborative relationship to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed sales threshold/quota as defined by the company.
• Analyze sales and profits to generate strategic actions.
• Provide customer service, become a problem solver and create solutions for customers.
• Any other assignments as directed by Management.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of industry outside sales experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.
• Previous international logistics/transportation sales experience highly preferred.
• Established presence in the marketplace preferred.
• Must have a proven sales track record in business development.
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and maintain solid working relationships with clients and staff.
