Payroll​/Office Administrator

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll/Office Administrator to support payroll operations and day-to-day administrative functions for a team in Del Rey Oaks, California. This Contract position is ideal for someone with hands-on payroll experience who can manage deadlines, maintain accuracy, and provide dependable office support. The role requires strong familiarity with multi-state payroll processing and confidence working within ADP Workforce Now in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Process payroll accurately and on schedule for an employee population ranging from approximately 100 to 500 team members across multiple states.

- Maintain payroll records, review data for completeness, and resolve discrepancies before final submission.

- Use ADP Workforce Now to enter, validate, and update payroll information, employee changes, and related documentation.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address questions involving pay, deductions, time reporting, and payroll adjustments.

- Support general office administration by organizing documents, assisting with routine operational tasks, and helping keep workflows efficient.

- Prepare payroll-related reports and provide timely information to management as needed.

- Ensure payroll activities follow applicable policies, compliance standards, and established processing procedures.

- Assist with special administrative or payroll projects, including process updates or system-related changes when required. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in payroll, office administration, or a closely related support role.

- Demonstrated experience processing multi-state payroll with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Prior use of ADP Workforce Now in a payroll environment requiring strong attention to detail.

- Experience handling payroll for organizations with roughly 101 to 500 employees.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines effectively.

- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in maintaining confidential information and handling sensitive payroll data responsibly.
