is seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant to support the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations across Post-Acute and Behavioral Health teams.

What You'll Do
  • This role focuses on executing day-to-day operational tasks to ensure efficient workflows, while alleviating administrative burden from the Practice Manager.

  • Maintain and adjust provider schedules in compliance with Medicare guidelines and internal standards
  • Coordinate daily patient visits, resolving scheduling conflicts and coverage gaps
  • Perform quality checks on scheduling accuracy and EMR documentation; flag and follow up on discrepancies
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff, providers, and facilities
  • Communicate with coordinators, providers, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Support insurance verification, authorizations, and documentation follow-ups
  • Track basic operational metrics and prepare simple reports or summaries for leadership
  • Maintain accurate, organized records across systems
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines and company policies in all tasks
  • Assist with SOP updates and process improvements
  • Provide support on special projects and take on additional administrative or operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of administrative, operations, or care coordination experience (healthcare environment preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with scheduling and documentation
  • Experience working with EMR systems and scheduling platforms preferred
  • Clear and professional communication skills across clinical and administrative teams
  • Ability to identify issues, take initiative, and follow through independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems
