is seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant to support the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations across Post-Acute and Behavioral Health teams.
This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient operations, supporting Medical Coordinators, and upholding high standards of care and compliance. It is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional ready to grow within a dynamic healthcare environment.
What You'll Do- This role focuses on executing day-to-day operational tasks to ensure efficient workflows, while alleviating administrative burden from the Practice Manager.

- Maintain and adjust provider schedules in compliance with Medicare guidelines and internal standards
- Coordinate daily patient visits, resolving scheduling conflicts and coverage gaps
- Perform quality checks on scheduling accuracy and EMR documentation; flag and follow up on discrepancies
- Assist with onboarding and training of new staff, providers, and facilities
- Communicate with coordinators, providers, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care
- Support insurance verification, authorizations, and documentation follow-ups
- Track basic operational metrics and prepare simple reports or summaries for leadership
- Maintain accurate, organized records across systems
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines and company policies in all tasks
- Assist with SOP updates and process improvements
- Provide support on special projects and take on additional administrative or operational tasks as needed
- 2–4 years of administrative, operations, or care coordination experience (healthcare environment preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with scheduling and documentation
- Experience working with EMR systems and scheduling platforms preferred
- Clear and professional communication skills across clinical and administrative teams
- Ability to identify issues, take initiative, and follow through independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems
